10th Anniversary Celebration of SGV Cancer Support

It was a lovely sunny afternoon and over 200 guests joined us in celebrating 10 years of SGV’s work in Haringey supporting those affected by cancer. It was a privilege to have the Mayor of Haringey Councillor Kaushika Amin opening the celebration.
All of us at SGV and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the varied music provided by DJ Colin, Myster Dex and his steel pan. There was also entertainment and workshops from lovely Rosie and her Belly Dancing Belles, the Ghungroo Bollywood and Contemporary Dance Group and I-We Contemporary Dancers. Colin Francombe magician and entertainer mesmerised the children and guests with his tricks. Everyone enjoyed the tasty food from different cultures. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable afternoon.
