Pilot Bereavement Counselling Project October 2013 to March 2014

SGV are now in a position to offer counselling to the bereaved relatives of cancer sufferers. Counselling offers a private space to talk about your experience and help you to work through your loss. There is no shame or stigma associated with receiving counselling and help through what is often a very traumatic and distressing time. You may find it easier to talk to an ‘outsider’ like a counsellor rather than friends or family about how you are feeling. The sessions take place on Friday afternoons, last for 50 minutes and are completely confidential. You are encouraged to come for an initial session to experience what is on offer and come to an opinion as to whether counselling will be helpful for you in your particular circumstances.

The Counselling sessions will take place in the Coombes  Croft Library, Tottenham High Road, N17 8AG, opposite Tottenham Hotspur Football Ground.
